Why did ClinicDrive decide to update its quality management system?
The short answer is: because the market asked for it. Specifically, there was demand for a more integrated, digital and up-to-date solution that brings documentation, tasks and responsibilities together in one place.
Why do clinics need a quality management system in their day-to-day work?
All clinics are subject to the same rules. The only difference is how many people are available to do the work. Larger clinics have more people involved, and smaller clinics have fewer. But the tasks are the same. Without structure, you quickly end up in a situation where everyone is responsible – which means no one is responsible.
How does the quality management system differ from other solutions on the market?
It’s not a generic system. It’s been developed in close collaboration with dentists over several years and provides a complete solution covering procedures, tasks, non-conformities and workplace risk assessments – we often call it ISO-light. Just with less bureaucracy.
What are you personally most proud of?
I’m most proud of the fact that you don’t have to start from scratch. When you get the system, it already comes with checklists, structure and content. You can customise it – but you’re not starting from zero.
If a clinic owner should remember just one thing, what would it be? Peace of mind. Because everything is in place, all together and easy to keep track of.
